ABOUT FANCOURT
A round on any of the 3 championship Fancourt courses is a special experience, sculpted and finished as they are, with rare attention to detail and designed with the coastal George winds in mind.
The Links course was completed in 2000 and is without doubt the most impressive piece of golf design and construction ever in South Africa. The course has hosted the 2003 President’s Cup, which ended in a historic tie after a dramatic play off between Tiger Woods and Ernie Els, amongst other top tournaments. In 2010 the World Corporate Golf Challenge will join the ranks and you are offered the special experience of playing this course set amongst the Outeniqua mountain range and natural garden paradise. For more of stunning Fancourt see here.
ABOUT OUBAAI
The Oubaai Links course maximises the impact of its natural, rugged and beautiful surroundings, with views taking in forest, sea, river and mountain. The coastal course will reward the well executed shot and penalise any wayward shots in the true time honoured tradition of a championship golf course, perfect for a World Final event. Oubaai truly is an assault on the senses and a challenge to all levels of golfer, with Els himself placing Oubaai as his favourite course in the world. See more of unique Oubaai here.
Further information on the World Final will be revealed throughout the coming months – see the World Final 2009 Gallery for all the action from the last series.
